 for over 25 years, artist P. Martin has been translating the noise of the world into visual stories.  Based on a foundation of original art and design, The Robot Wearing Socks studio is where grit meets imagination.

The Vision

My work is a collision of pop-surrealism, darkpop aesthetics and a deep-rooted love for counter-culture.  From the haunting depths of fairy tales that became childhood mythos to the rhythmic energy of the post-punk and indie music scene, my painting are designed for those who find beauty in the unconventional.

Whether it is a sketch in the toxic sketchbook, a vibrant acrylic on canvas, or a mixed-media tribute to a favorite album, every piece is an exploration of what it means to be human - or a robot in cozy footwear - in a chaotic world.
